Specifications include, but are not limited to: The landscaping is on the Water Street side and Lower Consol Rd. NW side (North and East sides) of the FFO building. The contract will be for a two-year period. The annual maintenance work must be completed each year of the two-year period and include the following: 1. Mulching βAll trees and shrub beds shall be prepared and mulched to a depth of 2β one time in the spring (mid to late April) with shredded, brown, hardwood mulch. The mulch bed must be inspected a minimum of once per month during the months of May through, and including, the month of October and with spot replacement of the mulch as needed to maintain 2β thickness. 2. Leaf and Litter Clean-Up - Any accumulations of leaves, dead woody material, and litter shall be removed from shrub beds and walks. A cursory monthly inspection must be performed each month (May through, and including, October). Any leaves or debris that accumulate between the main fall and spring clean-up events will be removed at the time of inspections. 3. Weeding - All mulch beds, sidewalks and curbs shall be weeded monthly from April to, and including, the month of October to maintain a neat appearance. Weeding can be achieved by extraction or by herbicide. 4. Trimming - A complete trimming of all trees, shrubs and ground cover shall be accomplished no later than May 1 and repeated monthly through and including the month of October. All dead and trimmed material will be cleaned and disposed of at an off-site location.
