Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Circulation o The capability to support a full suite of staff activities relating to the check-in and checkout of materials, fine management, billing, and customer account creation and maintenance of records. b. Cataloging o The capability to load bibliographic records from different record providers, edit, search, merge, and maintain those records, as well as provide MARC Bibliographic and authority record import/export c. Acquisitions o The capability to manage encumbrances and expenditures in multiple librarydefined funds based on acquisition activities including selecting, ordering, receiving, and invoicing. o Must be 9xx and EDI capable and vendor must support and configure 9xx ordering and EDI at the time of migration for the following vendors: i. Baker & Taylor ii. Ingram Books iii. Midwest Tapes iv. Recorded Books d. System administration o Must provide an administrative interface which allows authorized staff to set, edit, and export all parameters. e. Public Access Catalog, including remote customer authentication o Must offer an engaging, fully-featured public interface that allows for a wide range of customer-driven transactions. o Catalog must be mobile responsive. Proposal should include description and pricing for any enhanced functionality available, including but not limited to: integration of 3rd party readers advisory tools such as Novelist, FRBRization (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) of records, integrated Purchase Suggestions, My Account interface for customers to update their information, pay fines, place/cancel/modify holds, review items checked out, etc. f. eCommerce for customers to pay fines, fees, and material replacement charges
