Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. General Requirements Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide Installation and Repair Services of Laundry Equipment at Various Locations as specified within this solicitation. Services shall include the repair, return to proper place, positioning and satisfactory re-installation of equipment to any/all connections between equipment and wall electrical outlet, cut-off valves or supply lines. 1. Contractor shall provide trained qualified personnel to perform/accomplish the work in accordance with the contract document. 2. Contractor shall complete and submit with the solicitation package ATTACHEMNT 1, QUALIFICATIONS SUBMITTAL listing three (3) project references for work completed as the primary contractor for comparable services as outlined in this solicitation that have been performed within the past five (5) years. 3. All service technicians must be fingerprinted by PGCPS PRIOR to performing any type of service (See Section 17.0 Criminal Background Check) B. Service Request Requirements Services are to be performed during normal business hours (8:00 am – 3:30 pm,) or as posted on the PGCPS website for that location. Contractor is responsible for abiding by the approved school year calendar for days of operation. 1. Contractor shall acknowledge service request within 24 hours. 2. Contractor shall be on-site within 24 hours after service request has been confirmed. 3. All equipment repairs made within 48 hours. 4. Contractor shall provide all repair parts for equipment repairs. 5. Prior to repair(s) being performed, contractor shall ensure that the Building Services designee has approved all repair costs. 6. Contractor shall provide a detailed service ticket for all services rendered. 7. Contractor must provide full contact information for two (2) company representatives with bid submission. It is the contractor’s responsibility to keep this information updated. C. Repair Requirements All repairs require approval from the Building Services designee as follows: 1. Contractor may perform repairs up to $3,000.00 with verbal approval from the Building Services designee. 2. Contractor must submit a written itemized quote to the Building Services designee for approval of all repairs between $3,000.01 to $14,999.99. 3. All repairs in the amount of $15,000.00 and above will be subject to current Purchasing Policy and Procedures. Instructions on how to proceed will be provided by the Building Services designee at that time. D. Equipment/Parts 1. All repair parts shall be new, free of defects and genuine products of the original manufacturers of the various types of models and units outlined within this solicitation or have like design and comparison and installed with accurate workmanship properly fitted, connected and installed.
