Specifications include, but are not limited to: EMS PROTECTIVE COAT, NFPA 1999 CERTIFIED, Navy. 3.6.1 Material: The coat shall be made from a fabric consisting of Westex DH 48% Tencel, 40% Modacrylic, and 12% Aramid. It shall be a 7.5oz fabric with a plain weave. Color shall be Navy. 3.6.2 Sizes 32” to 60”, Length 29”, 32”, and 35”. 3.6.3 Reflective Fluorescent Trim: There shall be a three (3) inch wide ventilated triple trim sewn around the middle chest and back, across the radio pocket, around each sleeve, and along the entire hem of the Coat. The reflective fluorescent trim shall be three (3) inch lime/yellow Scotchlite triple trim. 3.6.4 Emblems: Each coat shall have a three (3) inch Star of Life sewn to the jacket and located on the left chest area. 3.6.5 Lettering: Each coat shall have three (3) inch Lime/Yellow Scotchlite lettering reading: AACOFD (no spaces) on the upper back. Lettering shall be sewn-on letter patch. The sewn-on letter patch shall be constructed of a layer of outer shell material.
