Specifications include, but are not limited to: INSURER AND PRODUCER REQUIRED SERVICES The following are required services: 1. The producer must coordinate with the third party administrator (TPA) for notice of claim to the excess insurer to assist Harford County, Maryland in fulfilling policyholder obligations required by the insurer. 2. The producer must obtain loss runs from the excess insurer one hundred twenty (120) calendar days prior to renewal, detailing the status of any claims reported to the excess insurer. The reports must include the following information: Paid, reserve and total incurred amounts Amount of retention applicable Claimant information Location information Cause of accident or loss 3. At least ninety (90) calendar days prior to each policy expiration or anniversary, the producer must provide Harford County, Maryland with renewal information, including the estimated renewal premium and pending coverage changes or enhancement options. 4. The producer must periodically survey other available insurers for renewal coverage at the discretion of Harford County, Maryland. 5. The producer must monitor financial ratings of the excess insurer and notify Harford County, Maryland of any changes, which may have adverse implications. 6. The producer must monitor and advise Harford County, Maryland of reduction or exhaustion of aggregate policy limits. Should aggregate limits be impaired, the producer must advise Harford County, Maryland of any limit reinstatement or additional coverage purchase options available. 7. The insurer shall provide training and other resources designed to help prevent workplace injuries as deemed appropriate by Harford County, Maryland. 8. The producer must be available to meet with Harford County, Maryland on an as needed basis. Any limitations should be specified. Additional costs, exclusions, or proposed value added services, if any, in addition to the required services must be specifically disclosed in the submittal.
