Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Provide support and leads training workshops for the MASC regional advisors to include sponsoring at least one advisor meeting to inform advisors of their role in developing the organization and student leaders. Plan advisor meetings and training sessions at major conferences. 2.Develop resources for the four MASC officers, mentors student officer team on their goals and action plans for the year. 3.Increase involvement in MASC from under represented regions in Maryland. 4.Conduct weekly officer team phone calls for training, mentoring, and updates as well as plans in person meetings, when appropriate. 5.Schedule, plan, and facilitate executive board meetings in June, August, October, December, and February of each year. 6.Provide mentoring to the MASC Appointed Staff members (between 25-35 student leaders from across the state of Maryland) to support them in actualizing their goals and plans. 7.Plan and implement three major leadership conferences each year: Fall Leadership Conference, Legislative Session, and Convention. 8.Oversee the selection and election process of the Student Member on the Maryland State Board of Education.
