Specifications include, but are not limited to: planning, design and construction for replacing the existing tennis bubble and systems with new pneumatic fabric structure, correct all roof drainage problems, provide a new mechanical system(s), and lighting system at Fairland Sports and Aquatics Complex ; A. Provide a new pneumatic structure to replace the existing pneumatic structure. Provide recommendations on best methods for insulating bubble, whether multi-ply fabric or more traditional insulation methods. B. Investigate drainage issues and provide written summary of existing drainage problems as related to the current bubble configuration and connections; develop a detailed design solution for all existing roof drainage issues for the replacement bubble installation and connection. Solution shall allow for protection from storm water and snow overflow from tennis structure onto existing concourse area of facility. D/B Contractor shall provide costs associated with design and construction solutions. C. Resurface the existing tennis courts with USTA Tennis facility Design/Construction Guidelines surfacing system with court lines and tennis court net poles including installing (4) sets of pickleball court lines on the same surface of two tennis courts. Courts shall be resurfaced to facilitate a medium speed of play (Court Pace Rating of 35- 39). Blue blended lines shall be installed on one court to accommodate United States Tennis Association (USTA) Quick Start Program. D. Provide new LED lighting system complete with emergency lights in the bubble that meets current codes, the Commission’s standards, and USTA recommended footcandles.
