Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2.1 The Contractor shall administer the plan as outlined in Exhibit A - MSIFB S20-129 PGC Dental Plan Design Summaries. Any deviations to the plan design should be clearly indicated in your proposal. 3.2.2 Eligibility - Permanent Bargaining and Non-Bargaining, Executive Level, Full-time and Part-time Permanent Employees (at least 20 hours per week); retirees; qualified dependent. Eligibility information will be transmitted to the Contractor in accordance with the County’s System Integration Requirements, at least weekly. 3.2.3 Transition Services - During the initial start-up period the Contractor shall submit a preliminary implementation plan, related to all implementation related activities including, but not limited to, securing claims history from the incumbent provider, scheduling meetings with the County’s Contracting Administrator (CA) regarding the implementation and transition, confirming data exchange and testing protocols, programming and testing of claim processing systems for services as of the effective date (January 1, 2021) of the benefits plan(s), including an explanation of how the Contractor will cover transition of dental care for members being treated by non-participating providers at the time of transition, educating employees on plan design and benefits, issuing identification cards, developing both hard copy and electronic communication materials, and supporting the County’s efforts to enroll eligible employees in the plan.
