Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to obtain one (1) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Support Resource to assist in the performance and/or technical management of cybersecurity and infrastructure projects and related activities. It is MDOT MPA’s intention to obtain services, as specified in this RFP, from a Contract between the selected Offeror and the MDOT MPA. The MDOT MPA is soliciting competitive sealed proposals to provide one (1) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Support Resource to assist in the performance and/or technical management of cybersecurity and infrastructure projects and related activities. The cybersecurity and infrastructure support resource shall be required to perform required cybersecurity and infrastructure activities concerning MDOT MPA’s mission critical and non-mission critical infrastructure and associated systems and services. This resource shall contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity and infrastructure projects by performing activities that include, but are not limited to; providing technical guidance, prioritizing activities, identifying risks, proposing and/or performing risk mitigation activities, developing standard operating procedures, and performing monitoring activities. The MDOT MPA intends to enter into a Contract with the selected Offeror for services, as specified in this RFP. No contractual or employment relationship will be created between MDOT MPA and the resource provided by the Offeror, and the resource provided by the Offeror is not entitled to any of the rights and privileges available to MDOT MPA employees. The Offeror shall comply with the ADA, FMLA, and any and all other federal and State laws and regulations impacting the Employer-Employee relationship. Any requests from the Offeror’s resource for reasonable accommodation, leave (see Section 3.5.9F), parking, or other benefits shall be addressed to and handled by the Offeror as the employer of the resource. The cybersecurity and infrastructure support resource shall work side-by-side with MDOT MPA Information Systems staff, under MDOT MPA Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Management. Work shall be performed in accordance with the RFP specifications, all other Contract documents, and MDOT MPA’s Terms and Conditions – Contracts for Services. The cybersecurity and infrastructure support resource shall project a professional image (the MDOT MPA work attire is business casual) and have the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English while performing assigned duties.
