Specifications include, but are not limited to: A qualified Contractor to provide specialized, full-service crowd management services for events and programs held on the University campus. Contractor shall provide highly specialized full-service crowd management, including tailgating and security services, for events and programs held at the University Union, West Village Commons, SECU Arena, the Towson Center Arena, Unitas Stadium and adjacent areas, the sports complex, and other outdoor venues on the University campus. Services required may include bag searches, pat-downs, metal detection services, and operation of equipment for event ingress. Events may include University-sponsored and external-type activities held at the University, such as dances and parties, athletic competitions, concerts, career fairs, charity fundraisers, commencement ceremonies, and other events as designated the University. On average, events at the University last approximately five (5) hours, and a given activity may require one (1) to ninety (95) Contractor staff.
