Specifications include, but are not limited to: he Consultants shall provide professional CMI services for construction projects on an on-call and on-site basis, as directed by the MDTA. The Consultant shall perform construction management and inspection services under the direction of and to the satisfaction of MDTA or its designee, in accordance with the plans and specifications for the projects. The Consultant shall become intimately familiar with the standard practices of the MDTA prior to the performance of work, and all engineering and inspection shall be performed in accordance with these standard practices. The Construction Manager (CM) shall work under the supervision of a Program Manager who reports to the Director of Construction, with the exception of the ETL Northern Extension Project and System Preservation Program as, it is the intent that, the I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETL) Project and the MDTA's System Preservation Program, a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) may be the MDTA's designee and may act as the Program Manager. The Consultant may be required to perform Construction Management as a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for the MDTA, to include the continued support of the large programs underway.
