Specifications include, but are not limited to: Review and analyze the current Hyattsville and Prince George’s County Street data to determine such things as: The working definition of minor collectors and above vs. subdivision roads The working definition of primary vs. secondary roads The correlation of the relationship between Prince George’s County and Hyattsville definitions of primary vs. secondary roads Delineation of ownership between Hyattsville and Prince George’s County Major collectors by road section Classification of Minor collectors as primary or secondary Subdivision nuances Identifying any redundancies and discrepancies in the current databases The Contractor will use the above information to determine how to best develop a preliminary pavement inventory database, and any attributes required. They will also work closely with Hyattsville staff to understand and define the network according to the paramaters of the proposed system. Unique Network, Branch, and Section IDs will be developed for each segment of the pavement inventory, and existing segment identifiers will be retained when defining the network. The Contractor will perform pavement condition surveys in a manner that is systematic and repeatable, using a semi-automated pavement condition data collection approach with a proven PathRunner system, or approved equivalent. Prior to and during the semi-automated pavement condition survey, the Contractor will: Create and verify a list of pavement sections to be surveyed Work closely with DPW staff to develop a testing schedule Perform continuous QC/QA of data during surveying Evaluate pavement conditions.
