Specifications include, but are not limited to: All animal carcasses shall be stored in the Successful Bidder-supplied storage containers. The storage containers shall be a minimum 200 pounds, one (1) cubic yard capacity tilt truck with wheels with lid, or a 200-gallon reusable medical waste container with lid and wheels, which shall be supplied to the County. The dimensions of the tilt truck/medical waste containers shall be no more than 30" wide x 47" long x 40" deep. There shall be a minimum of eight (8) tilt trucks/medical waste containers stored at the County’s Animal Control Facility at all times. The Successful Bidder shall exchange any removed storage container for new ones at the time of pick up. The tilt trucks/reusable waste containers shall be stored in freezers at the Animal Control Facility. The County will place the smaller animal carcasses within the tilt trucks/medical waste containers in three (3) ml. bags to prohibit visibility of contents. The Successful Bidder shall supply the County at the time of pickup, a dated receipt to include the number of storage containers removed and their estimated weight. These receipts shall be matched to the disposal receipts in reconciling the invoices.
