The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, fuel, transportation (mobilization), tools, parts, supplies, incidentals, and equipment including, but not limited to arrow boards, crash cushions, changeable message signs, signs, and sign stands, as necessary to perform temporary traffic control services. Services include but are not limited to lane closures or shoulder closures, used in conjunction with work performed by various City crews or other City contractors in response to scheduled work, emergencies, or incidents on an as-needed basis. 3. RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1. The Contractor shall: 3.1.1. Provide a designated contact employee for request of services by the City. 3.1.2. Perform work following Maryland Department of Transportation standards and specifications as well as the Maryland Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Device Standards. All equipment shall meet Occupational Safety & Health Administration and Maryland Occupational Safety & Health Program standards. Additionally, the Contractor shall remain in compliance with all OSHA and MOSH personnel, equipment, and safety regulations. 3.1.3. Respond to the City’s request for Work Zone Traffic Control Services with 48 hours of request to develop a plan based on the work zone specifications. The duration of the plan development will be situation based. 3.1.4. Have a MD Certified Traffic Control Manager on staff for the development and submission of traffic control plans to the State of Maryland on behalf of the City
