Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to engage a Non-Profit Organization, as required by 7 CFR 246 5(d), to administer a WIC Program in Montgomery County and targeted areas of Prince George’s County. The services include enrolling applicants in the WIC Program, providing supplemental foods through the WIC food instrument system, making nutrition education services available, and providing referrals to health care and other social service agencies as needed. These services and benefits will be provided to pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five years of age who are determined eligible.
