This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the State of Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). The work shall consist of the furnishment and installation of a concrete block retaining wall with a poured concrete footer, and installing a 4” diameter subdrain, concrete headwall, and stabilized outfall. A stone drainage ditch will also be installed to convey water to the outfall point. If needed, a temporary access road will be installed to facilitate the construction of the drainage ditch. Clearing and grubbing of vegetation and other site preparation will be performed as needed to facilitate construction. Erosion and sediment controls will be installed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications and the erosion and sediment control permit issued for this project. Upon completion of earthwork, all disturbed areas will be limed, fertilized, and seeded after final grading of topsoil.
