Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. WATER QUALITY TESTING ANALYSIS: I. The contractor shall conduct testing of water samples 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from the first day of school i.e., from the date of award, through or around June 20, 2025 and conduct testing 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, during the reduced summer schedule. II. The contractor shall conduct testing of water samples to assess parameters such as pH, turbidity, led, chlorine levels, and microbial contamination. In the event that levels are out of MDE regulation range, the vendor shall inform the FCPS compliance manager immediately. III. The contractor shall fulfill role of water treatment superintendent for daily testing and provide a water treatment operator as needed. IV. The contractor shall be responsive when additional site visits are needed at the request of FCPS. V. The contractor shall record daily all tasks performed in the facility log book located at each of the identified Schools. VI. The contractor shall record daily the following: • Finished water flows • System pressure • PH and chlorine residual readings from a distribution point • Chemical feed pump operation b. CHEMICHAL TREATMENT: The contractor shall supply and administer chemicals for water treatment processes, including coagulants, flocculants, disinfectants, and pH adjusters as per MDE and COMAR Title 26.
