A.Blower Building: a. Replace existing centrifugal blowers with new turbo blowers. Design should include evaluation to confirm blower sizing based on current and future aeration demands. b. Evaluate existing air supply system. c. Evaluate improvements to the process header to improve operations to allow isolation for maintenance and repairs. d. New inlet control valves e. New discharge valves (butterfly valves and check valves). The treatment plant has experienced high failure rate with the valves. Evaluate the design and recommend improvement. f. Evaluate and recommend replacement of electrical and controls including MCC, VFD, PLC and transformers. g. Structural modifications based on new equipment to consider ventilation, roof, equipment pad and hoist/monorail system. B.Reactors: a. Evaluated diffuser design. Replace diffuser membranes. Evaluation should include the following considerations: 1. Diffuser Type – slit size, ceramic, diffuser membranes 2. Maintenance and Cleaning to include retractable type 3. DWP Monitoring
