Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vehicle Tracking and Management System utilizing Electronic Vehicle Inspections, GPS and Vehicle and Installation Equipment Interface technology in conjunction with vehicle location and mapping software to track vehicle locations in real time while providing a visual mapping display. The primary purpose of the system is to improve the efficiency of day-to-day operations, winter operations, and emergency response capabilities to the public. The system must provide route and vehicle information in real time via web interface, with activity log and no lag time, to the dispatcher and general management personnel. It must be equipped with reporting capabilities as needed to accurately data stream operational service information, dump operations, spreading of deicing materials, idle information, vehicle speed, vehicle location, vehicle movement, hard acceleration, and braking, plow up/down, ability to create geo- fences, and when vehicle is parked.
