1. Web-based remote connectivity 2. Power and data must be transmitted to the cabinet solely via electrical cable 3-conductor (No. 14 AWG) 3. Preferably mounted using with an “Autoscope Mounting Pedestal” or approved equal 4. Must be able to distinguish shadows from vehicles reliably (accuracy of at least 95%), same applies for all weather conditions. 5. The device must have capability for stop bar detection and advanced detection for a distance of at least 400 feet 6. The device must have capability for live video stream via web-based browser 7. Cabinet interphase (communications panel) must be able to communicate with a minimum of four detectors 8. Must work with NEMA TS2 Type 2 cabinet 9. Minimum five (5) years of warranty 10. The vendor must provide support for installation and troubleshooting 11. The vendor must be willing to allow the Administration at least 30 days of operation (after installation) to verify that the proposed detection works. If the product is deemed inadequate during the 30 days, the product will be returned at no additional cost to the Administration. If the product proves to be a viable solution, payment will be made by the 60th day after the product was set in operation. 12. The proposed device must be approved through the Maryland Product Evaluation List (MPEL) at the time a quote is provided.
