Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project includes renovation work to Building 2270. The building is located within a fenced compound which includes other buildings and is currently unoccupied. Renovations include building space upgrades, mechanical, fire detection and suppression, electrical, telecommunications system modifications. Other systems being modified are audiovisual, unclassified and classified communications networks, surveillance, and electronic access control. Project objective is to design and renovate facilities for the military that are consistent with the design and construction practices used for civilian sector projects that perform similar functions to the military projects.
