The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, Maryland (hereinafter referred to as “HOC”) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors to provide turnover painting services to all HOC managed and maintained properties and scattered sites. in Montgomery County, MD. 3.1. Work Specifications The Contractor(s) retained by the Commission for the purposes of providing painting services will be subject to, but not limited to, the requirements listed herein. A. Surfaces to be painted in Sherman Williams Pro Mar 400 accessible beige flat are as follows: 1. All walls except kitchen and bathroom walls. B. Surfaces to be painted in Sherman Williams Pro mar 400 pure white semi-gloss are as follows: 1. All kitchen and bathroom walls and ceiling. 2. All doors and door frames throughout. 3. All baseboards and trim. 4. Convector Covers. 5. Window sills throughout. C. Front door to be painted as specified by property. 1. Scrap loose paint. 2. Light sand. 3. Apply one (1) coat of primmer 4. Apply One (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel paint. D. Ceilings 1. Scrap loose paint. 2. Light sand. 3. Apply One (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Pro mar 400 ceiling white flat. E. Paint Balcony Railing (If applicable) 1. Preparation will include repair and complete preparation of painting, including sanding of molly bolts, scrapping and light sanding of railing. 2. Apply one (1) coat of primmer 3. Apply one (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel paint.
