Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and supplies necessary to perform security guard service for the Banneker-Douglass Museum, with methods and conditions hereinafter specified. The qualified vendor must be able to provide the guard services as described in this solicitation, when needed. Vendor must be able to provide the necessary personnel, and any special equipment required to provide these services. These services must be provided in orderly, continuous and consistent manner, which will support the effective delivery of services to customers, and which will cause the minimum amount of disruption to agency operations. 3.2.1 CONTRACT TERM: The term of this contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, beginning September 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019. 3.2.2 SCHEDULE: Routine Operation - The Contractor will provide one (1) qualified, trained and uniformed security guard at the Banneker Douglass Museum, located at 84 Franklin Street, Annapolis, Maryland, Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Museum Special Events - The Contractor will provide a uniformed security guard for all special events held at the museum, such as exhibit openings on Sunday afternoons. These events will be in addition to the number of regular museum operation hours listed above. On average there will be five (5) special events per year and each event will be approximately four (4) hours in duration. GOCI’s Contract Monitor will notify the Contractor at least ten (10) days in advance of any special event that will require security guard service. 3.2.3 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor will furnish all labor, supplies, equipment and personnel necessary to provide uniformed security services and the guards shall be expected to follow and complete the policies and procedures provided by the facility. These policies and procedures may change from time to time. All security requirements established by GOCI shall become part of this specification. It shall be the Contractors responsibility to comply with the security provisions.
