Specifications include, but are not limited to: The overall goal of this project is to take advantage of the newest technology and harness efficiencies by reviewing business processes and implementing technology to enhance existing business processes performed by the County departments. The County is planning to replace its current software systems environment with a new system or combination of software systems, and to adopt systems functionality to support core processes. In doing so, the County seeks to address several challenges in the current environment, and gain future efficiencies, including, but not limited to: • Key Objectives and Outcomes: o Enhance operational effectiveness by making more timely, accurate, and complete information available to citizens, County personnel, and vendors o A modern solution that will allow the calculation breakout of highway taxes and allow users to view critical data in dashboards, leverage workflow and approval capabilities, and receive automated system notifications o The County has numerous SQL jobs to gather information from disparate databases for tax processing and payment reporting purposes. These include automated and manual processes developed by IT to meet the departments needs in areas that include business filings, lien sheet development, tax sale listing development, and generating files for the ERP system o Robust integration capabilities, including but not limited to Laserfiche for the system o The County would like an enhanced online payment portal and streamline the customer file maintenance process for allocating payments, refunds, non-sufficient fund (NSF) charges, and tax sale processes, which are all currently manual processes
