Specifications include, but are not limited to: Prior to the start of each winter weather season each labor crew supervisor shall thoroughly familiarize themselves with the sidewalks, stairs, landings, plazas, and walkways of each building to which they are assigned. 18.2 Prior to the start of each winter weather season each driver/operator shall thoroughly familiarize themselves with each parking lot assigned to them. 18.3 Prior to the start of each winter weather season the Contractor shall provide stakes and a stakeout for each parking lot to be plowed. 18.3.1 Stakes a minimum of 36” in height and orange or yellow in color shall be provided. 18.3.2 Stakes shall be offset a consistent distance at curbs, medians, curb directional changes, hydrants, ground mounted equipment, or other obstructions and at a frequency to clearly show drivers/operators obstructions in their plowing path. 18.3.3 Any damages to County property caused by the Contractor shall be the responsibility of the Contractor for repair or replacement cost. 18.3.4 The County Project Manager will designate the locations at each parking lot where plowed snow is to be placed via picture diagram. 18.4 The Contractor shall plow snow from parking lot areas, entranceways and any area designated by the County Project Manager. All plowed snow shall be placed into designated areas of the parking lot and must be placed to minimize impact to pedestrian or vehicular traffic. In the event, due to accumulation or concurrent snow events, primary storage locations are at capacity, the County Project Manager will designate alternate storage locations
