Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. The Contractor, upon receiving a request for snow removal services, shall report to the Director of Maintenance /designee, at the CTPHC Maintenance Department to receive specific snow removal assignments. ii. The Contractor shall furnish all labor for plowing the road leading into the CTPHC facility and all parking lots within the facility. The Contractor shall assign a Site Supervisor to be always on site while the snow removal work is in progress. The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire snow removal activities and Must be able to communicate in English with CTPHC representatives. iii. CTPHC shall provide the deicing materials, Salt and Magnesium chloride, for the contractor to spread on sidewalks and surfaces when there is any ice on the lots, or if the weather forecast would indicate a forecasted icing condition. iv. The Contractor shall provide the equipment and staff as listed below, at a minimum of: a. One, three-quarter (3/4) ton truck, equipped with a driver, hydraulic mounted snowplow and attached salt spreader. Vehicle must have capability to push or plow snow from parking lots. b. One, five (5) ton truck, equipped with a driver, plow and a salt spreader. c. One skid loader with rubber tires and/or tracks, a driver, and equipped with a minimum of a bucket and plow for snow removal. v. The Contractor shall provide all equipment in good working condition as all equipment required to perform the work shall be readily available, on call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Equipment shall be prepared to commence clearing and removal of snow and ice from designated areas after having been notified by the Director of Maintenance /designee.
