Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractors shall move snow to appropriate shoulder areas or load onto trucks by use of four-wheel drive rubber tire wheel loaders and/or fourwheel drive rubber tire backhoes. B. Contractors shall begin work within four (4) hours from receipt of notification and shall continue to work as required by the County. A bonus of $1,000.00 per piece of equipment, per assigned snow event will be paid in addition to the hourly and mobilization rates bid when this condition is met. Bonus will only be paid per piece of equipment that is activated within one (1) hour of initial notification and remains active until released by the County. C. Contractors shall furnish all operators (in shifts as required), materials, fuel, including re-fueling, and equipment necessary to accomplish the work assignments. Contractors shall perform the work in a diligent and efficient manner. Contractors shall supply operable equipment and trained equipment operators at all times in order to perform necessary work. The minimum shift per operator shall be eight (8) hours; twelve (12) hour shifts are preferred. The maximum shift per operator shall be sixteen (16) hours. Work hours can consist of any time of day and/or night. Contractors shall remain on active status until released by the County.
