Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure the lowest price for the City of Baltimore (City) in accordance with specifications and documents contained herein for Snow and Ice Removal services for winter snow seasons at the Baltimore Police Department Districts and City Buildings. All locations will be serviced on an as-needed basis determined by the Department of General Services (DGS). B. All location will receive snow removal services to include but not limited to plowing, salt aggregate application, de-icing with general clearing of parking lots, driveways, adjacent alleys and footways on properties as well as perimeter footways. This will include all entrances and steps to the entryways and will vary by location as further described in the Detailed Specifications section of this solicitation. C. The Contractor shall provide dump trucks, loaders and other equipment with operators, equipped at the Contractor’s expense, according to the specifications found in this contract. The dump trucks, loaders and other equipment shall be available for work under the direction of the DGS for snow and ice removal operations from November 15 - April 30. The equipment under contract to the Department shall be available for full deployment call outs for winter storms, seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day
