Specifications include, but are not limited to: A SGHC will contact the Contractor when a snow event forecast is expected to be greater than two (2) inches and the volume and intensity of the snow and/ ice fall will be determining factors of the stand-by status. i. The snow removal services shall begin and end upon notification by the Director of Multi-Services / designee, and continue until the snow event is determined to be over by the same until areas are cleared and treated. ii. The Contractor, upon receiving a request for snow removal services, shall 2 report to the Director of Multi-Services /designee, at the SGHC Garage to receive specific snow removal assignments. iii. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, snow removal-hauling/salt spreader equipment, the transportation of snow removal/hauling/salt spreader equipment, insurance, fuel, maintenance of snow removal/hauling/salt spreader equipment, operators and all other incidentals to shovel, clear, remove and haul snow accumulation and ice from assigned roadways, parking areas, sidewalks, entrance ramps and steps. iv. The Contractor shall assign a Site Supervisor to be on site at all times while the snow removal work is in progress. The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire snow removal activities and must be able to communicate in English with SGHC representatives. v. The Contractor shall provide the equipment and staff as listed below, at a minimum of: a. One, five (5) ton truck, equipped with a driver, plow and salt spreader. b. One, three-quarter (3/4) ton truck, equipped with a driver, hydraulic mounted snow plow and attached salt spreader. Vehicle must have capability to push or plow snow from parking lots. c. One, skid loader with rubber tires and/or tracks, a driver, and equipped with a minimum of a bucket and plow for snow removal.
