Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1 It is the intention of these specifications that the Contractor hereunder shall provide and Baltimore County shall purchase snow removal, de-icing and salt application services, including all labor, supervision, equipment and all fuel, lubricants, vital fluids, parts, maintenance repairs, and all items of cost needed to provide these services, covered by this agreement which the County may require during the period time specified. The County reserves the right to order such services as may be required during the said period, and it also reserves the right not to order any services, if it is found that such services are not required by the County during the period covered by this contract. 1.2 Snow removal shall consist of pushing all snow off the surfaces of designated areas defined in this specification. Salt application shall involve the even distribution of rock salt across the same surfaces being plowed by means of a salt spreader. The rate of application should be pre-calibrated as recommended by Baltimore County. 1.3 Map attachments showing site locations and areas to be worked are best viewed with a color computer screen or printer to better identify the areas to be cleared. Parking lots are marked in green and sidewalks in blue.
