These Specifications are intended to cover the furnishing of snow and ice removal services on roadway sidewalks, crosswalks, and side-paths for the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works, Bureau of Highways. It is the intent of this invitation for Bid for Anne Arundel County, Maryland, hereinafter, (the “County”) to establish contracts with qualified bidders to provide all labor, supervision, supplies, and equipment necessary for snow and ice removal along roadway sidewalks and side-paths, in accordance with these Specifications. Work shall be under the general supervision of the Director of Public Works and/or his designees. The goal of the County is to contract for services within three separate geographic areas (Eastern District, Western District, Southern District) and assign these areas to separate and well qualified Contractors capable of performing the specified services in a responsible, efficient and timely manner.
