Removing and stabilizing an existing landslide in the Shallmar Area of Kitzmiller in Garrett County, Maryland. The purpose of this project is to take measures to remove and stabilize an existing landslide. The work shall consist of excavating the landslide material, disposal of the material in a waste area, installation of anchors, temporary drainage control, sediment and erosion control measures and revegetation.as more fully shown in the plans and specifications prepared by E.L. Robinson Engineering for the Department of the Environment-Mining Program. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A performance/payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor.
