Work includes the implementation of security improvement measures at Severna Park Elementary School which require the relocation of the administrative offices to be immediately adjacent to the new secure vestibule. Renovations include the installation of doors, storefront entry systems, and access control measures at the existing school entrances to provide a check-in/screening vestibule. Existing aluminum and hollow metal framing systems will be retrofitted to receive security glazing and laminated glazing. Work includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines. The GC shall provide for maintaining egress from the existing school while the building is occupied.
