Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Competitive Sealed Bid (CSB) contract is to obtain a source of supply for Sodium Chloride/Road Salt (Rock and Solar) for State agencies, primarily The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), and other eligible, at a firm fixed price; Successful Vendor(s) shall be responsible for ensuring that the Sodium Chloride/Road Salt (Rock and Solar) supplied is in accordance with the Section C-Detailed Specification. The State reserves the right to inspect each load prior to acceptance by the State, for compliance with the specifications herein. Inspection may be made by an authorized representative of the State at the source of supply, point of delivery, or both.
