Specifications include, but are not limited to: Information on the availability of a Software License and Textbook Management System for the process of managing software licenses and textbooks used throughout the organization. PCCPS would like to manage the rules, guidelines, usage and distribution of the software produced by the software publishers or distributors. 1. Need a user friendly way to maintain accountability for textbooks and other digital resources. The selected product must identify ways to manage the licenses, including the following: ● Confirm which licenses are being utilized ● Monitor when we approach max usage or exceed purchased licenses ● Capture offices that own licenses ● Capture intended audiences (School, course, grade) 2. Requirements – Access: ● Cloud-hosted solution with web and mobile app interfaces ● SSO support using SAML/ADFS or Azure AD ● Device and browser agnostic 3. Users: Role-based access control (District based users vs. school based users) 4. Data: Captured (Ideally for print and digital resources)
