The primary role of the Retirement Plan Consultant is to provide objective, third-party advice and counsel that will enable the Investment Committee to make well informed and well-educated decisions regarding the investment choices within the 403b Plan and 457b Plan. 3.2 Provide recommendations as to the selection and retention of fund menu for performance, fees and fit. 3.2.1 The plan intends to comply with the best practices consistent with Employee Retirement Security Act (ERISA) Section 404(C) although the Plans are not subject to ERISA. 3.3 Provide advice to the Investment Committee on plan(s) governance, investment options, regulatory considerations, plan(s) design, fees, and expenses. 3.4 Conduct manager searches to replace underperforming funds, if required. 3.5 Review share class on a periodic basis. 3.6 Assist in RFP process, as required, for a Retirement Plan Administrator. 3.7 Provide recommendations and related training on the Plans’ Investment Policy Statement. 3.8 Provide recommendations and related training on fiduciary responsibility. 3.9 Consultant will monitor the performance of the investment options and will notify the Plan Administrator and Client of material changes in any investment option that may affect the performance or suitability of the investment option.
