Vendor is responsible for surface preparation, repair and application of paint on the complete exterior of the BWI K-9 Building, approximately 3,000 square feet of exterior wall surface. Vendor is responsible for verifying the square footage of the building. Included in the painting is the metal trim, doors and other surfaces on the exterior of the building. The kennel side of the building will be painted with catalyzed epoxy basecoat and & urethane topcoat for extra building protection. Surface preparations will include, but is not limited to scraping, sanding, patching, filling holes, cracks, dents, caulking and pressure washing of all exterior paintable surfaces. Painter’s tape shall be used to tape off all non-paintable area including windows, signage, light fixtures, etc. All landscaping will be protected. Vendor is responsible for the daily clean up and removal of all debris for the site. Vendor will provide commercial grade exterior paint, subject to approval of the Maryland Aviation Administration.
