Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project is (1) to renovate existing bathrooms – both Men and Women. Total existing building area is approx. 2765 SF. All existing toilet fixture, accessories (including hand dryer) and plumbing shall be replaced with new. The existing concrete slab shall be replaced with new concrete. All areas shall meet ADA 2010 requirements. The new wall shall be metal studs 8’ high. The existing skylights will be replaced with Solatube. The entire bathroom shall have new LED light fixtures and new exhaust system. The existing louvers which will stay will receive new insect screen. Both bathrooms will receive new ceiling mounted fan. The existing water heater located inside the Mechanical Room shall be replaced with new tankless water heater and add as needed by the design; (2) The existing entrance vestibule shall have aluminum storefront entrance system after removing existing chain link fence/gate and prefab booth; (3) The existing A/C unit in the existing office room shall be replaced with a ductless unit with heating and air-conditioning system; (4) Emergency Eye wash shall be installed in the filter equipment room; (5) Exterior light fixture above entrance will be replaced with LED; (6) Existing electrical panelboard shall be replaced with S/S cabinet; (7) Existing speaker and associated speaker amplifier shall be removed. All call paging system (1 Zone, no call back, no intercom) with 2 exterior speakers shall be provided; (8) New suspended acoustical ceiling tile shall be provided in both bathrooms and office; (9) The existing asphalt shingles shall be removed in its entirety and provide architectural shingles per DNR requirements and section 073113 (Color will be selected by DNR); (10) Some of the existing louvers shall be converted to a fixed aluminum window; (11) ADA access is required. saw Cut existing exterior slab 5’ wide. Provide gravel base and new concrete slab (3000 psi compressive strength – Design Mix #2; Air entrain 5 to 8%, Mix contents – Portland Cement 6-1/2 Bags (611 lbs.) per cubic yard and water 5-1/4 gallons per bag of cement. UP-3: Prepare surface and provide Resinous Flooring System on the wall, base and floor as indicated in the document: 1. Work Included: Provide resinous flooring system per Section 095110 and drawings; 2. Unit of Measurement: Payment will be made for the actual material in place, measured in linear foot.; 3. Estimated Quantity: 11,200 SF; D. UP-4: Saw Cut existing concrete slab within the toilet areas and provide new concrete with reinforcements as indicated in the document.: 1. Work Included: saw cut existing slab. Provide new concrete slab per Section 033000 and drawings; 2.
