Specifications include, but are not limited to: A source of supply Regular Cab Dump Trucks and Wing Plows for a State Highway Administration Contract at a firm fixed price for the term as shown herein. It is the intent of the State to award a single contract for Regular Cab Dump Trucks and Wing Plows to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Prices should be quoted on pounds. The motor trucks to be purchased under these specifications shall be current model year of the award date, two (2) wheel drive conventional type units. . Trucks shall meet all applicable State and Federal emission standards for 2010 EPA air quality regulations. They are required for general highway maintenance, such as hauling crushed stone, heavy rock, dirt, cinders, rock salt, debris and performing heavy duty snow removal by pushing a snow plow that weighs approximately 3,800 pounds. All trucks shall be equipped with stainless steel dump body package, hydraulic reversible snow plow, push frame, wing plow, and stainless steel under tailgate spreader box per attached specifications. Each vendor shall provide detailed specifications of the complete unit, which includes the truck, truck components, and dump body package, when the bid is submitted. These specifications require doing everything necessary or proper for, or incidental to the furnishing of said unit. All items of design and equipment not listed in these specifications, but involved in carrying out their intent, are required to be furnished by the bidder, the same as if these items were specifically mentioned and described in these specifications.
