Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, miscellaneous parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and methods of communication for work performed under the contract. The contractor shall maintain a stocked service truck with materials, tools, ladders, and equipment to provide automatic door services as described in this scope of contractor services/scope of work. The contractor shall comply with all terms and conditions of the contract documents. The contractor shall provide qualified generator mechanics who are certified in servicing a Kohler 150 Kw, 120/208 volt, natural gas fired electrical generator. The unit provides 3 phase, 60 HZ service to our computer server room. The qualified and certified generator mechanics will perform various duties as directed by the MD SHA HQ Supervisors or a member of the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Team. The contractor shall perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on the generator quarterly per the maintenance task list with additional tasks to be performed semi-annually and annually. All cost and expenditures should be inclusive on the contract bid form. The contractor shall provide "not to exceed” estimates for services to be performed prior to performing the services unless waived by the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Supervisors or a member of the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Team. The estimates must be received within twenty-four (24) hours after initial service call or site visit. The estimates must outline detailed information, such as the description of services and itemized list of repair parts required to complete the job. Failure to supply estimates PRIOR to services being performed may result in a breach of contract and said contract may be terminated. All work shall be approved by the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Supervisors or a member of the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Team prior to any services being performed. Regular service shall be made available between the hours of 7:30 AM. - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday excluding State recognized holidays. All services requested outside of these times shall be considered EMERGENCY after hour services and shall be charged at overtime rates that are not to exceed one and half (1 ½ ) times the routine hourly rate as specified on the contractor’s bid form. The State recognized holidays are New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. No work shall be permitted on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays without the permission of the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Supervisors or a member of the MD SHA HQ Maintenance Team.
