The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Public Works, are accepting proposals for a Purchase-Drainage Pipe Contract. This is an as-needed contract to provide and deliver pipe and band to the Mid-Shore Regional Landfill at 12236 River Road, Ridgely, Maryland. Delivery hours will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A 24-hour notice will be required before delivery. Pipe Specifications include: • All pipes must meet or exceed AASHTO M252/M294 standards. • Pipe must meet a minimum 100-year service life. • Joint performance- Bell and spigot joints with a factory-installed gasket on the spigot must meet the watertight requirements of ASTM D3212 (pressure tested at 10.8 psi). • Bands should be standard bands, and the price should include hardware for each. • Vendor shall hold prices good for 1 year. • All pipes must be delivered within 4 weeks of the order date. • All pipe orders that exceed $8,500.00 shall have no shipping cost to the County.
