Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services required will consist of providing professional and support staff to assist the Department ofEnvironmental Protection's Division of Solid Waste Services staff in promotion for a wide variety ofsolid waste management, waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and buying recycled activities. Personnelmust be capable of explaining, defending and justifying the various aspects and conclusions of aproject before senior management, elected officials, regulatory agencies, technical experts, thegeneral public and different types of media, as directed.The selected contractors will provide the experienced creative and production personnel required todevelop and administer program advertising, educational and promotional efforts. Thoseresponsibilities will include the design, execution and placement of advertising and promotions andwill include the typesetting, graphic design, printing and securing of all supplies.The public outreach and education program should address solid waste management, wastereduction, reuse, recycling, and purchase of recycled products for three main target groups:·Single-family and town-home residents·Multi-family properties and residents in apartments and condominiums·Businesses, non-profit and/or government organizations, institutions and employees
