Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure the services of an experienced housing counselor to work with City residents, Gaithersburg landlords, property management companies, the non-profit community, and City and County government to ensure families receive coordinated services to prevent eviction and become financially self-sufficient. This work would require ongoing outreach and relationship building with landlords through visits and phone contacts, provision of educational resource materials for participants and coordination of the annual City landlord appreciation event. The successful bidder shall demonstrate experience working with at-risk low-income families in Gaithersburg or Montgomery County. Bidders should also have experience in assisting clients understand and access a range of supportive services available within the County.
