This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 75N94025Q00153 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the business size standard is 1000e. However, this solicitation is not set aside for total small business. This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) has a requirement for a vendor who can provide the following new immuo-panel plates that are compatible/used with the Luminex xMAP INTELLIFLEX platform:
ITEM# EPX800-10080-901 - ProcartaPlex ™ HU IMMUNE RESPONSE 80PLEX 96 TESTS – QTY (3) EA
The lab is requesting the purchase of immuno-panel plates for human and mice for the Luminex xMAP INTELLIFLEX system to significantly enhance our research capabilities in high-throughput multiplex protein expression analysis. This technology is essential for advancing our translational research efforts, particularly in projects that require the efficient and simultaneous quantification of numerous targets from limited biological material. The immune plates using the INTELLIFLEX platform enable the detection of up to 80 different proteins or gene expression markers in a single assay using as little as 25 μL of sample. This is especially critical when working with precious clinical samples or small-volume animal models. Unlike many other systems, it allows the detection of protein in samples without the need for stripping and reprobing, streamlining workflow and reducing potential sample loss or degradation.
Importantly, the protein multiplexed assays on a single Luminex platform, makes it uniquely suited to our integrative molecular profiling needs. The system’s proprietary “Plex-Plex” functionality allows for the combination of multiple assays sets in a single run, dramatically reducing processing time and increasing throughput without compromising accuracy.
In addition, the system includes user-friendly, cloud-based analysis software robust data interpretation and accessibility for all users in the lab.
Given its versatility, reliability, and unmatched multiplexing capabilities, the Luminex immune panel multiplex plates for the INTELLIFLEX system will be a valuable and cost-effective addition to our laboratory. It will directly support current and future projects involving blood, tissue, and cell-based assays and allow for more comprehensive and timely analysis of protein expression in both preclinical and clinical studies.
