For example, if there is a location that requests bids for Enhanced Salt and/or Replacement (Regular) Salt, vendors have the option of bidding "No Bid" on both, Enhanced only, Replacement (Regular) only, or bid both Enhanced and Replacement (Regular). The only exception to this is on the Early Fill where there is a location (s) that requests quotes for Enhanced Salt. Vendors are encouraged to bid at least the Replacement (Regular) for any location that requests pricing for Enhanced. The requesting agency will then be given the low bid price for Enhanced and the low bid price based on the region for Replacement (Regular) to make the decision on which to 6 ITB No. 071I6200175 purchase. If the requesting location decides to purchase the Enhanced salt, that line item (s) will be awarded separately. The other locations for Regular Salt will be awarded by region. If the requesting location decides to purchase Replacement (Regular) Salt, the award will be based on the low bid for that region.
