The Polygraph Examiner shall perform the following services: A. Ensure that all Background and Compliance (“BAC”) tasks assigned to the Polygraph Examiner are implemented and completed in accordance with all applicable public safety practices, personnel policies, and personnel law; B. Review, research, and evaluate documentation container in each applicant’s background case file; C. Gather and obtain relevant information and data through polygraph and/or voice stress analysis (“CVSA”) approved agency techniques; D. Conduct Polygraph/CVSA evaluations on applicants as past of the background investigation process; E. Conduct final reviews of the case file documents to ensure accuracy and completeness; F. Document, in writing, all activities regarding each applicant’s Polygraph/CVSA examination results; G. Ensure that polygraphs are conducted in accordance with the American Polygraph Association and BAC standards; H. Conduct initial integrity to screen applicants for employment with the County, as assigned; I. Perform tasks and duties that may not be defined within the scope of services provisions, but are within the general occupational category and responsibility level typically associated with this type of investigative work; J. Maintain complete confidentially regarding the County’s hiring standards and all applicant information in accordance with established County Policies, procedures, and law; K. Meet with the BAC Manager at least quarterly, more often if the BAC Manager deems necessary, to review the Polygraph Examiner’s performance; work hours used and remaining; and expectations for the upcoming quarter/period; L. Make such final reports as may be required by the BAC Manager concerning the work and services performed under this Agreement; and M. Perform all services provided in accordance with this Agreement in a timely manner. Note: The vendor will provide polygraph examinations as assigned by the BAC Manager. The number of assigned polygraphs will vary from year to year depending on the number of public safety classes offered by the County and the number of candidates that apply for each class.
