2.4.1 The Contractor shall inspect, identify, monitor, evaluate, and choose the appropriate method of pest control at MDTA facilities. The Contractor shall provide at no additional cost to the MDTA all labor, materials, supplies, services, chemicals (wet and dry), equipment, devices, technical expertise, transportation, and any other items necessary to accomplish full treatment of pest control for MDTA facilities listed in Appendix 9 – Work Site Locations at the prices quoted on the Bid Worksheet. 2.4.2 The Contractor shall be responsible for the safe use and application of the pesticides being used for pest control. Protective clothing, equipment and devices shall, at a minimum, conform to Occupational Safety and health Administration (OSHA) standards for the products being used. Pesticides shall not be used in any manner that is inconsistent with its labeling. 2.4.3 On Attachment B-2– Bid Worksheet, the Contractor shall factor into their price, all necessary labor, materials (also see Section 2.5.10), equipment, tools, testing, administrative fees, overhead, profit, travel time, fuel, transportation costs, reporting, record keeping, delivery, storage, burden, credit card processing fees, insurance, and all similar incidental costs to complete the work as described in this specification and any other service necessary to properly control pests within MDTA facilities. Travel time to and from the job site is considered incidental to other costs. Travel time and travel costs shall not be reimbursed separately. 2.4.4 The services mentioned are to be rendered entirely by trained personnel. Details for licensing, certification, etc. required by this Contract are included in Section 1 – Bidder Minimum Qualifications. 2.4.5 The Contractor shall not take advantage of any unintentional error or omission and shall deliver all services, materials, labor, and supervision, as intended by the MDTA, and identified in these Contract specifications. 2.4.6 The Contractor is responsible for ensuring all personnel and Subcontractor(s) are appropriately trained, licensed, and certified as needed to provide services under this Contract. 2.4.7 The Contractor shall ensure these aspects remain current and updated, as appropriate, throughout the duration of this Contract and provide this information to the Contract Manager on an annual or as needed basis to ensure that all licenses and certifications are current. 2.4.8 The Contractor is responsible for completing and submitting safety and environmental plans subsequently described in these specifications.
