Important components of a selected system product include the ability to delineate separate questions according to institutional hierarchy (university, college, department and instructor levels) and teaching function (instructor, teaching assistant), the ability to interact with the University’s existing student information system and/or related data, the ability to integrate with the University’s replacement student information system (Workday), the inclusion of a robust, flexible, and intuitive reporting system, the ability to extract results data from the system into a data warehouse, and the ability to share a subset of results with students according to specific criteria. The Vendor will be required to work productively with Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment (IRPA) and the Division of Informational Technology (DIT). IRPA and DIT project personnel will interact with the Vendor during the pilot and implementation process and in ongoing service delivery. The IRPA course evaluation project coordinator will serve as the functional point of contact. DIT will have a point of contact to ensure careful integration, compatibility and testing between in-house hardware, software, databases and mainframe systems. The system requirements have been defined with input from IRPA, DIT, and the Provost’s Office.
