The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the University of Maryland, College Park (herein referred to as the University or UMCP) to select on-call Contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for projects on an “as needed basis” for the Department of Facilities Management and other locations at College Park, MD. The contractor will perform leak diagnosis and emergency repairs within twenty-four hours of request from project manager or as weather permits. Contractor will also perform roof inspection reports, routine maintenance, replacement and repair/replacement of gutters and/or downspouts on a unit price basis. The Contractor (s) are to be available (on call) as projects arise to provide construction services for UMCP and their Service Centers. The bulk of job requests will be from UMCP. However, the University cannot, however, forecast what the frequency of use will be.
