The successful bidder will assist the Hanover maintenance team with carpentry, painting, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing-related repairs and upgrades to maintain the interior and exterior areas in excellent condition. The contractor will execute tasks assigned by the contract management. The contractor shall be accountable for general repairs assigned, safety, and the cleaning of work sites during and after project completion. The handyman contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials and transportation. The contractor is responsible for providing his equipment and tools to complete all assign task. The handyman contractor will inform the contract manager if additional materials and equipment are required during the work. Below are some common duties that the handyman contractor will perform at the Hanover Complex. • Repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and other areas of the buildings. • repair or Install floors, stairs, and carpet. • Light carpentry and repairs • Minor drywall repairs (walls, holes, and cracks). • Door and cabinet hardware replacements • HVAC maintenance, such as filter and belt replacements along with grease and coupling repair. • Minor plumbing repairs, restrooms, pipe leaks, faucet repairs, or replacements as needed • Painting and touch-up painting • Perform basic electrical repairs, such as receptacles, lights, light fixtures, and other small voltage repairs. • Perform general snow detail: shovel, plow, and de-ice various areas as needed.
